Kavaratti & Agatti in 6 Days: A Two-Island Lakshadweep Itinerary

Two atolls, five nights, one seamless journey. Here's how our Kavaratti & Agatti 6D/5N package unfolds — day by day, resort by resort.

If you have six days and want to see the two most iconic faces of Lakshadweep — the airport gateway of Agatti and the coral capital of Kavaratti — this is the itinerary we plan more than any other. It moves at an unhurried island pace, layers in the archipelago's best water activities, and finishes with the kind of quiet lagoon evenings that no other Indian coastline can match. Starting from ₹12,000 per person, it is also the most balanced way to experience Lakshadweep without doubling back on the same island.

01

Day 1 — Land in Agatti, dip into the lagoon

Your flight from Kochi banks over a ribbon of turquoise and touches down on Agatti's runway — a strip of coral rock cutting through the sea. Our team meets you at the airport, hands over cold coconut water, and drives you to your resort for a traditional Lakshadweep lunch: tuna curry, red rice, and grated coconut.

In the afternoon we ease into the trip with a half-day tour of Lagoon Beach, Andhan Beach and the eastern and western jetties. This is the day to swim, not schedule — the lagoon here is waist-deep for hundreds of metres and the reef is visible from the shore.

02

Day 2 — Kayaking, scuba and a sunset at Kalpitty

Mornings on Agatti belong to the water. We start with kayaking through the calm lagoon and follow it with an optional scuba dive over the house reef — an easy first-timer dive with parrotfish, moray eels and coral gardens between eight and twelve metres.

In the evening a glass-bottom boat carries you to uninhabited Kalpitty Island. Snorkel over the shallow gardens, watch green turtles glide past, and drift back as the sun drops behind the reef.

03

Day 3 — The Bangaram–Thinnakara day out

This is the day guests remember most. A ninety-minute boat ride toward Thinnakara often turns into a dolphin-spotting run. We stop at the Bangaram sandbank — a strip of white sand that only exists at low tide — for photos and a sea bath, then continue to Thinnakara for a picnic lunch under palm shade and snorkelling at the shipwreck point. (This excursion is subject to weather and administration clearance, and is billed separately at ₹2,500 per person.)

04

Day 4 — Transfer to Kavaratti

After breakfast we transfer by speedboat or vessel to Kavaratti, the administrative capital of Lakshadweep. Check in, unwind, and take a leisurely walk along the Kavaratti lagoon in the afternoon. If you have energy left, the Marine Aquarium and Ujra Mosque are both walkable from the main resorts.

05

Day 5 — Kavaratti water day

Kavaratti's protected lagoon is one of the clearest in the archipelago. We spend the day snorkelling over coral gardens, kayaking the shallows, and finishing with a turtle-watching session at the reef edge. Sunset is best from the western beach — bring your camera.

06

Day 6 — Final breakfast and departure

A slow breakfast, one last swim if the tide allows, and a transfer back to Agatti for your Kochi flight. Guests almost always say the same thing at the airport: they wish they had booked one more night.

07

What's included — and what isn't

The base package includes Entry Permit assistance, AC beach resort or apartment accommodation, all meals, snorkelling, glass-bottom boating, turtle watching, the Kalpitty Island visit, and airport transfers on both ends.

Flights, the optional Bangaram–Thinnakara excursion (₹2,500), scuba diving (₹3,500 including video and boat charge), and personal expenses are separate.

08

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends entirely on where you stay. Standard apartment stays like Lala Apartment start at ₹12,000 per person; premium resorts such as Ocean Oasis or White Sand sit between ₹19,000 and ₹22,000; and luxury properties like Sea Shell Beach Resort go up to ₹29,000 per person. Couple and child rates are quoted separately on the package page.

This itinerary is our most requested for a reason — it gives you two very different islands, all the signature activities, and enough downtime to actually feel like you were on holiday. Tell us your dates and we'll put together a fully priced quote in a few hours.
